Feb.1, 2017 - Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach recently announced its call for nominations for the 2017 Pope Francis Award, Mother Teresa Award, Faith Community Nurse of the Year, and Faith Community Nursing Scholarship.  
 

The Interfaith Health and Wellness Program of Catholic Charities will honor recipients for their compassionate, courageous, and truly merciful work in helping those in need, at its Celebration of Faith-based Nursing Awards Luncheon. Award winners are chosen on the basis of their life-long dedication, leadership, and service to enhance the quality of life in the community.

To nominate a community volunteer or faith community nurse or for more information, call (561) 345-2000 ext. 256. Nominations are due by February 21st by 12 noon.

The Award Luncheon including silent auction is open to the public and will be held on Friday, April 20th, 2017, at the National Croquet Center located at 700 Florida Mango Road in West Palm Beach. Tickets are $100 and may be purchased by calling 561-345-2006.
