Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are a blessing to others and are blessed in return.

The Volunteer Services Program manages volunteer opportunities for the 12 Catholic Charities programs and ministries of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach. We continually seek generous and dedicated volunteers to work in our various programs. Below is a list of our programs and ministries with volunteer opportunities. Please click on the program’s name to learn more.

Catholic Charities is grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who give of themselves in the service of God’s people in need. A volunteer reaches out the hand of God to comfort His people.

Parish Social Ministries involves Catholic Relief Services (CRS) which carries out the commitment of the U.S. Bishops to assist impoverished and disadvantaged people overseas, to promote the sacredness of human life and the dignity of the human person. We are looking for volunteers to be the Global Solidarity leaders for their parishes, and for others to provide local outreach by heading up each parish and collecting funds through CRS Rice Bowl.

You can volunteer to raise awareness about CRS and organize action in your parish on behalf of the poor and marginalized around the world.  To help your efforts, we’ve created a list of suggestions of what you – or a group of you - can do to in 5 to 10 hours per month. Your work, your voice, and your prayers at the local level makes a difference for the people we serve around the world!  View list
