Professional Counseling Services Available to All in Need

The Catholic Charities Counseling Services Program provides professional counseling and therapy for adults, children, families, couples and groups in eight locations in four counties. The team of therapists addresses issues such as marital/relationship discord, child and family dynamics, depression, loneliness, grief and loss, anxiety, stressful relationships, child and adolescent problems and other life stressors.
A children's therapist provides counseling to children and their families in the St. Lucie County area through funding from Treasure Coast Kids,
The Counseling Program offers its services to clients on a sliding scale. Spanish-speaking counselors are available at some locations.
On average, the Counseling program assists more than 1,300 unduplicated clients annually.
Generally, clients are served in the county where they live. Counseling services are not provided to those who are actively abusing drugs or alcohol or who are physically abusive. Persons that the agency cannot serve will be referred to a more appropriate resource.
